Press Coffee Expands Downtown Presence

PHOENIX – Press Coffee is expanding its presence downtown and is excited to announce the opening of a new location at the corner of East Van Buren Street and Second Street. The new unit, located at 200 E. Van Buren is on the ground floor of the 200 EVB office building. The grand opening will be held on October 8.

The new 1800 square-foot space will have its own entrance off of Van Buren and will have a unique, modern look, a guest bathroom, bar and table seating.

We look forward to welcoming the diverse downtown community into the new location,” said Steve Kraus, founder and co-owner of Press Coffee. “Each location aims to cater to the needs of the guests that frequent it and we hope to continue to impress our long-time fans and those new to Press Coffee.”

Press Coffee is proud to be Arizona’s local roaster and a leader in the Specialty Coffee field. Importing the finest beans from around the world, Press expertly roasts each batch of beans at its Roastery in Phoenix. This café will serve the same high-quality coffee and coffee-based drinks currently being offered at the other Press locations. Other menu items include breakfast, lunch, pastries and grab and go options.

To celebrate the grand opening, Press Coffee will sell $1 drip coffee from October 8 to 10 with 100% of profits donated to Pawsitive Friendships a local nonprofit that helps children with special needs by providing Animal Assisted Therapy, thereby supporting and encouraging the kids through the unconditional love of an animal-human friendship.

This location will be open Monday through Saturday from 6:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. and on Sunday from 7:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

Press’ mission is to serve the highest quality Specialty Coffee and coffee products with exceptional service and support the community through different philanthropic efforts.
